SSG Ronald L. Paulsen

Army SSG Ronald L. Paulsen, 53, of Vancouver, Wash.;

assigned to the 414th Civil Affairs Battalion, Army Reserve, Utica, N.Y.;

died Oct. 17 from injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device

detonated near his vehicle in Tarmiya, Iraq.
