assigned to the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment,

3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, WA;

died June 5 in Baqubah, Iraq of wounds suffered when he was hit

by small arms fire.
