Army SGT Damien T. Ficek, 26, of Pullman, Wash.;

assigned to the 1st Battalion, 161st Infantry Regiment,

Washington Army National Guard, Spokane, Wash.;

killed Dec. 30 when his patrol was attacked by enemy forces

using small-arms fire in Baghdad.
