MSG Brian A. Mack

Army MSG Brian A. Mack, 36, of Phoenix, AZ;

assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division

(Stryker Brigade Combat Team), Fort Lewis, Wash.;

killed Jan. 13 when an improvised explosive device

hit his military vehicle in Mosul, Iraq.

MSG Mack was promoted posthumously.
