2004
The
very first Hero to Hero project was done by Operation
Support Our Troops in March 2004. It was such a
huge success! OSOT was at that time becoming
overwhelmed with getting our packages together for the
other Holidays so after the initial Hero to Hero
project, Liz Jackson of
PatrioticPastime took
over the Hero to Hero project and has continued to have

What We Heard From The Troops
2-3rd Infantry Battalion, Iraq:
Dear Friends, Family and fellow
Patriots,
I want to take the time to thank
all of the family members, friends, and supporters who
supported Operation Hero to Hero. We received 16 boxes
of the customized T-shirts on 16 March 2004.
The shirts are great and we really
appreciate the work that went into them, not to mention
the cost, time and energy that must have been required
to gather all of the materials and personnel to do the
work. The soldiers really appreciated receiving the
shirts, and it is motivating to us all to see such a
unique and heartfelt sign of patriotism and appreciation
for all of the hard work that we are doing.
Thank you all again for your
continuing support, keep the mail and prayers coming.
