Hello,

I am a Soldier currently in Iraq. This past Easter I received a small plastic bag of goodies from your organization from our MWR facility here on post. I just wanted to say thanks to you for your kindness and to tell you that your efforts are very much appreciated. It is, as always, the little things that count and your big effort to provide us with those small things make day to day life much more bearable.

Thanks you,

CW3 Doug M.

Hello. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and that the bunny finds all the kids. I am sure that he will. All of you deserve a present from the Easter Bunny after all the trouble you went through to put the packages together. All of us here from the "84th Engineer Company" thank you for the goodies. It is very appreciated. Thank you all for your support and the gifts that you send to all of the SOLDIERS deployed here to Iraq. We are all grateful for the time that you take out of your daily lives to think about us. Once again on behalf of the "84th Engineer Company" we THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Take care and keep up the contributions; every SOLDIER appreciates it.

Thanks

To the caring people at Operation Support our Troops,

Let me start off by thanking you very much for the care package and the Easter Blessings. It is so nice to know that people at home care about us so much and support us in our mission.

Things here are the same as always. It is getting hotter and hotter everyday. But I might as well get used to it, because it is only going to get hotter as the days go by. We had a sand storm the other day, and it is nothing like I have ever seen before. We have been hoping for rain, but nothing has happened so far. Even if it does rain, I think that the ground would suck it all up. Then we would be right back where we started from.

I see that you are from Washington. How are things out in Washington? I hope that all is going well for you out there. I am from the great state of Ohio. I have lived there for about 8years now. Before that I lived in New York State. I grew up there, as my dad was also in the military. I am an Army brat.

But I am just rambling on, so I am going to let you go. I hope to hear back from you soon. Once again thank you for your continued support and the care package.

Thank You,
Hofer, Catherine

Thanks for the packages!  The Soldiers truly enjoyed receiving something that reminded them of home!  Sorry that we couldn’t dress like a bunny and hop around some, kind of hard to do here!  We really do appreciate everything and I’d like to thank you again for everything you've done for my Troopers!!!

Thank you!

Our Easter pack out was a great success this year thanks to overwhelming support from volunteers – young and old!  We can't thank you enough for your commitment in assisting us in this worthy cause!  We packed close to 6,000 Easter bags this year, easily exceeding our goal of 5,000.   These Easter packages were sent to our brave men and women serving our country overseas.  We know that through your efforts, these Easter gifts and blessings will demonstrate to our troops that they have our love and undying support here at home.  Again, a huge Thank You to the many volunteers who assisted OSOT in this successful project.   It would not have been possible without your overwhelming support and efforts.

We would also like to thank Dino Rossi for taking time out of his busy schedule to spend some time with us as we packed for our Troops.  Thank you, Dino!  It was great to share the excitement of the day with you!

As always, OSOT wants to acknowledge and thank the numerous corporations, organizations and individuals who continue to support our efforts with their generous donations.

  • Tharco Box Company – For the continued donation of the shipping boxes that are so very necessary to our projects!

  • Jelly Belly – Again for donating thousands of bags of Jelly Belly jelly beans!

  • Bob Moore and Starbucks Coffee – For all of that yummy Starbucks coffee that we know will be appreciated!

  • Eba Victoria – Once again for the wonderful "pocket angels"!

  • Jim Broe and American Legion Post #161 – For the generous donation of $1000.00 and the Xbox 360s!

  • KMPS and KVI – For your continued support in getting the word out!

SGT G.I. Rabbit thanks all of you who have participated in sending our troops this special Easter message so they will know they are in our hearts and prayers at the special time of year.

Happy Easter!
