Santa's Soldiers 2010
As we approach the upcoming 2010 Holiday
Season, Operation Support Our Troops (“OSOT”) will be
assembling and packing boxes to send to our troops again
this year. Due to our late start, small budget, and
very limited space for volunteers this year,
we are not able to adopt the large numbers of troops as
we have in the past. Our packout will be:
November 13, 2010
11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (or until we
finish)
at
Issaquah Valley Senior Center
75 NE Creek Way, Issaquah, WA 98027
Unfortunately since we
are in a new location this year and have very limited
space we are not able to accommodate the large numbers
of volunteers to help with the packout and we must limit
our volunteers to only fifty (50) people. If you wish
to be one of the fifty (50) people, you must contact
Sheryl Sheaffer at
sheaffers@comcast.net before November 6, 2010
to place your name on the list. Once we reach our
limit, we will not be able to accept any more volunteers
to help with the actual packing.
For those still wishing to help, we are
asking for your help in the following ways:

Cards and Letters of Support
– If you have school-aged children, please
consider asking their classrooms, Sunday
School class or youth groups to do cards and
letters of support for our Troops. They
love hearing from the kids!! |
As always, we really appreciate your
desire to help and for whatever you are able to give.
For many, it has been the gift of their time in
assembling and packing the boxes for shipment. But
regardless of whatever you are able to give, we will
always be thankful to you all!
